30 Seconds to Mars Among Hardest-Working Music Acts (Study)

Vampire Weekend, Willie Nelson and Megadeth also made Songkick’s list ranking 2010's top 20 touring artists.

Lady Gaga, B.o.B, 30 Seconds to Mars and Vampire Weekend were among the hardest-working touring music acts in 2010, according a study released Thursday by Songkick, a website focused on live music that aggregates artist, concert, festival, venue and ticket information.

The study, based on Songkick's analysis of the total number of tour dates artists had in 2010, found that indie rockers Vampire Weekend (No. 8) actually traveled the farthest last year -- a total of 150,000 miles, averaging more than 944 miles per show -- but pop-punk band Mayday Parade topped the list with the most tour dates, with 194.

Also landing in the top 20 were country veteran Willie Nelson (No. 6), pop singer Lady Gaga (No. 7), Jared Leto-led rockers 30 Seconds to Mars (No. 14), hip-hopper B.o.B (No. 17) and veteran rockers Megadeth (No. 20).
